Windows 8 is just scary from a business point of view. I fear if it is release like it is now that Windows 7 will become XP all over again and people will be using it for the next 15 years.

From a business point of view yes, but I like the tiles for a HTPC or a slate device.
Who knows if Win 8 is the “next” version of windows. It might just be like Honeycomb is to Gingerbread (in android terms). You know, just a version for specific applications like HTPC’s, tablets, etc.
Maybe it’ll just run along side of it’s Win 7 Desktop/Laptop counterparts while 8 will be more for the living room / mobile market.
