I use both Kis on Laptop but NIS is darn good on my Desktop.

And seriously, you like the NIS?

I can't vote because I don't use security suites.  No matter how light they are, they never seem to work properly (especially norton / mcafee types).

yes like NIS, switched from Avast it's still a bit too darn buggy and some shielding is just plain window dressing.

Yeah, Avast still has a few bugs but it seems to work fine in the "free" editions that I use, and 4.8 is still going strong on my business systems.

I prefer avast! suite. I did love AIS when I used it for 30 days. Now on Free version  ;)

I think Immunet should have been added to the list.  It's the only free anti-virus that can be installed on a server machine and for companies that have a server and less than 5 machines in the office, it's a great alternative.

Just because you have a server, doesn't mean that you make 100's of thousands of dollars a year and can afford to put A/V software on your server and every other machine in your office.

I think you can install MS Security essentials for SMBs. MSE is better than immunet, isn't it?

Could be, but I guess that changes everyday and arguable by whomever does the testing I suppose.
